had some time on the way home waiting for busses so i hit up chapters and starbuck (go mocha frap) and grabbed an awesome surfer magazine, and the old april transworld snowboarding magz. the surf mag was an awesome deal.. its a huge book thats kinda like a photo annual but has a lot of articles as well… it will keep me occupied for a couple weeks.

as well i started fooling around with my camera and tried up some stylization on aperture/photoshop.

so i was waiting at the westboro bus station on my way home from work. i had grabbed a rockstar on my way as a lil evening jumper for when i get home. so a security car goes by, i think nothing of it of course… lil bit later i see one go the other way. but paying attention to it it does a u turn after the center wall break and drives back up to where im standing.. window down. the security guy points at me. so i pop my ipod ear bud out of my hear and ask whuts up. “is that just a rockstar”.. “yes sir.. its a rockstar”… “thanks”.. and he drives off..

ok.. so i have skater shoes on.. baggy pants.. bright yellow t-shirt.. and a volcom hat.. do i really look like a crazy skater guy who would be drinking in a public place at 6:00 on a thursday night…

so steve at work introduced me.. or told me about.. the new kanye west song/video that was out. stronger. now at first i wasn’t to taken by it.. but after a couple listens and watches. i have to say the video is quite stylish and song (not really lyrics) is pretty dope as well. now.. the reason probably has to do with the fact that daft punk seems to have produced this single.. and the music video is a take off of the akira anime.. fairly obviously if your an akira fan. the over all style of production of the video i as well found myself becoming quite fond of. i think its the random red characters that keep coming up.. and the scan lines that go along with his crazy glasses (yes the same ones the bear up top is wearing)
