i was reading an article off of digg around the windows genuine advancement of crap… advantage sorry… n someone pointed to this vid off you tube.. now.. this sparked something… its a kids show.. promoting life as a pirate…. .. … anyone… cumon… see what im getting at….. maby…. il give you one more sec…………. as kids their drilling into our head that its ok to be a pirate. what does this cause, us to think that this is cool. when when you have stuff called software pirating, and music pirating, do you think people will shy away from this cool name and way of life. everyone wants a bird on their shoulder, gold in their pocket, and your own ship to dance around on with the hunnies. how many people would shy away from that, and they wonder why so many people are embracing this whole, download shit for for….. they pretty much told us it was ok to be pirates as youth and now they have to live with that. ok i know its a stretch… but i had to write something possibly provocative to post that video…. right…

welll, kinda… flight has been booked for whistler trip, yay all around. but time table has been changed. whistler/vancouver week is now the 9th to 19th of march. primarily due to condo availability and me finding cheaper flights… much cheaper… so ya, now i just sit and wait, then pack 2hours before i go… thats the way it works right…. well that how i work.

well, this evening a couple of us stayed a lil late at teknision to make sure the new teknision site got up and running, which we were able to to. teknision.com is now seeing its first full site revision in several long years apparently. due to busy client schedules and other oddities that got in the way of making the new and amazing tek site. there are some cool things in the works for the future so keep looking back. and now that flickr has fixed their issues you will have access to all the cool flickr integrated stuff.

on another note, it seems that i will be in the lovely little town of whistler within the next 2 weeks. yup, thats right, hitting up the big mountain from march 2nd to 11th. so check the blog regularly for cool ass photos and updates on the funness. tyler and i have some big plans for some hardcore ski/boarding action in the rockies.

no, non of the new site stuff has really progressed in any fashion, and to add to that iv gone and decided to tack on another project to my pile of cool stuff to do. so you have to wait for some new fancyness from me.

yesterday was an odd day… went to bed earlier than normal the night before yet still ended up getting up late due to various happenings. for 1 my alarm didnt seem to go off, and i slept though the music that starts up at 7 automatically from my computer. once i realized it was 9:45 when im suppose to be at work at 9:30 after a 45 min bus ride… i knew it was gona be one of those days. my alarm clock which is my cell phone was missing in action.. then realized my wallet as well.. then i realized i had a message from nic saying i left my cell and phone at his place the other night… my wallet has my bus tickets… though i did manage to find 3 dollars lying around on my messy desk of receipts. luckily got a ride in, stopped at nics on the way to hopefully pick stuff up… he had gone to timmies for coffee… bastard…. off to work.. get in at 10:20 or something… apparently the msn message i sent to someone at work didnt go though… and they had left a message on my phone i didnt have… bleh. then i was just all over hte place during the day from my un happy morning. nic was cool enough to drop my shit off at work at lunch and i treated him to the works for his good deed. then took forever to get the bill and get back to the office.

all in all the day ended decently. stayed late to make up missed time, went to nics after getting shit together at home first, ordered chinese and then watched “afro samurai” ya, that is a pretty pimp anime… spike tv original, seems like only 5 eps but really good, and pretty bad ass.

well. watched the superbowl on sunday…. game was interesting, im not a usual football game watcher, but its the thing to do with the dudes. watched it on a n channel so didnt get the crazy cool superbowl ads during the game but watched em online this morning…. cant say any of them really stood out, honestly very disappointed. the only couple that were cool, were ones i say before on regular tv. bud light again tried to push the envelop but still really stale in comparison the previous years. either were starting to expect way to much or marketing companies just arnt seeing the 1.5 million 30 sec buy in al that “big” anymore to really push it. im not saying they wernt entertaining, but non that il remember past a week unlike past commerials like the ‘cat hurding’ commerical a couple years back (when ad critic was still around, watched it several times) but ya, disappointed.
