well, apperantly the logos being used in the adobe cs3 betas as well as the macromedia betas arnt placeholders but mainly final branding. most comments around them are on the negative side with lots of disappointment.

personally im slightly disappointed. although they are sleek, they arnt to graphical and informative off the bad, and wont look sexy at all in the os x dock or even the windows start list…. the feathers were awesome… and the styalized letters for flash (which is actually sticking around, someone fraught hard for that im sure) and the and dreamweaver fireworks etc. ya, they looked pretty spiffy. i really hope the design company that did their last 2 cs version branding didn’t do these…

their just so chunky…. and bland… even to bland for “simple design”….

so, dreamworks has a new trailer for a movie up…. can any one guess the theme….. as they said, by creators of shrek and shrek 2….. cumon you can guess… maby its more rats… nah, no clue.

well its called “Happily N’ever After” that must give ya a big clue. well, it not being part of the shrek story yet trying to grab hold of the success of the whole fairly tale jokes thing and “play on fairy tales”, shows how much creativity is in that dreamworks bunch…

ever notices how a lot of the less produced dreamworks features are also mirrored on the super high quality pixar movies, with technical innovations and the best stories ever. seems like dreamworks gets a snif of the story, writtes something up quick, and throws it at the animators and say we need this before pixars done… and not just animated movies, even hollywood seems to be on the same boat. remember deep impact and armageddon… within a year or less of each other.. this pattern (as well as the ability to ad a chronological number onto the end of each movie) seems like the only way movies are made. yes there are still good movies coming out from select studios, a lot from the independent film making area. now lets not mention all the movies that are being re-done from the past. il just leave it at that for now…

god i need to go burn a witch

time flies when your having fun. pretty much two weeks now since a decent post. yes those component cables finally arrived on the friday of that week. after that things get blurry. couple people i know finished their exams… though haven’t seen any of them yet, but im hopping i get time to hang with them since during school they fall off the face of the earth…

last week as a teknision event overhaul. we had 2 events, one on the tuesday, and one on the thursday. tuesday was the companies year end overview, which gave me a much bigger oversight into the company, the plan, and the vision etc, and everyones mentality, which was a big eye opener in many respects. then it was off to the honest lawyer for some drinks, good, some sens hockey and whatever mini games they had…. love those mini games. wed was i guess a relax night, though i think i ended up at nics. cant remember, maby thats a good thing. thurs night was again a teknision event. yuk yuk downtown for dinner and a show. and wow, it was just what the doctor ordered… not the meal, that turkey sucked ass… i needed a doctor after that turkey…. but ya, the show, show was hilarious, all parts of it. the last act, the guy from the molson ex commercials about to much sex, and most recently the timmies commericals about garlic bread and chilli… ya, lets just say out presidents wife was front how center and was never missed as the tail end of a joke wrap up :P man, that guy is awesome…

lets see, friday, what did friday bring… was at nics… we watched the battlestar movies… mini series, then got into the episodes on sat night…. dan and nic are addicted now, i need to bring more over.. sunday was a chillin day, did a lot of cleaning around house (my rooms mainly), got the new monitor that i bought off my old art director and put that on teh g5, and the lcd from the g5 is now on the pc and replaced the fading crt…. watched some movies… the covenant kinda sucked. little mrs sunshine was awesome up till that last dance part, that was pretty stupid i think… oh well.

monday was back to work day, though that night nic and i tackled editing the footage from his gf’s dance classes dance recital. ya, took us till 4 am to get something, i kinda messed up on the rendering and wasted a wack of time… but allowed me to beat zelda while waiting… ya, the story part is done… tears… beat ganon on the last stage with a 1/4 heart left. wow, 1/4 heart. so ya i was really groggy at work on tues. wed was back to normal after coming home and sleeping all evening tues…

other than that, kristoph is in town from montreal till sunday so extreme chillage will be happening, tyler is back on the weekend, my brother is back, and my mom will be back from 3 weeks of traveling.. meaning i have to take the damn bus to work again…. evil. i also hate issues with the world these days, but il update you on all that crap in a separate posting.

o wow, this looks different. well, not for long. im working on creating the wordpress skin for teknisions new official blog, for for the next while this skin will be up untill we get the teknision server set up to run the official teknision blog.

other than that. yes its been over a week without a post. iv been busy and such, but il have a re-cap at somepoint end of this week. all i can say is that the story portion of zelda is done :p 41 hours aprox.

you see that, see, right there “preparing order” that means my damn high def cables for the wii are finally coming. that order under it that says canceled was my initial order, before the console came out, which got messed up in there system or some bs like that according to their e-mails and weak explanations in response to my several e-mails. lets just say the whole process has left me a lil bitter, but… i got a wii on launch day, so ya, i guess that makes up for it.

ya, this is a delayed post. shows how long it takes for me to get pics off a camera.

but ya, last friday a wack of us got together at rickies for a derek/ricky b-day get together. which involved some drinking wii fun. 2 player boxing is awsome, i neeeed another nunchuk. but ya, bellow are some pics. and a link to alexies pics as well.
