well, iv had the new tv for a week now. finally got around to getting some pics of it for those who have wanted to see it. posted a bunch on flicker (i have a nice flickr exporter from aperture now, so makes that stupid easy) so there are a couple more shots of it up there.

allllrighty. so i ran across this article on cnn.com “School bans tag, other chase games”. That should give you a big enough clue anyway. But ya, people complain that kids don’t get out enough, their in playing video games all day, or watching tv, and yet, you go and take away one of the more fun outdoor school activities that actually involves physical exercise. Sorry, but the slide, the see-saw, the swing, and tire swing dont really count for much of an outdoor activity to me. Something where kids are running around actually pumping their heart and you know, keeping them healthy is apparently to dangerous an activity. I think sitting around getting fat and letting your heart die is even worse of fate then possibly getting pushed a lil to hard and scrapping your knee, or pulling an angle ligament etc. This just proves how retarded parts of the states are getting. No wonder their claiming obesity as an epidemic, but serves them right for putting it on themselves i guess. The amount of things kids are no longer aloud to do in that country since its possibly dangerous (ie. Sesame street is now sesame park since its dangerous to play in the streets these days) just boggles you into whut things will be like in, o, 5 years at the way things are going. I’m pretty sure monkey bars, and the fire pole are next to go on the list of things that kids do at a park to go.

It takes away the whole social unity aspect as well. No wonder kids are becoming loners and playing “WoW” at home alone in the evenings.

well, this was a lovely treat. little-gamers.com, an awesome lil web comic, apparently has a game coming out. its still in dev obviously, but it looks like the guys have come up with an awesome game engine, and the style matching exactly with the comic. but the most enjoyable thing, to me anyway, is how many options you have for weapons of death :P. the fun is endless.

well, im am exhausted and possibly should be working… since its, 10:30 etc. its crazy how you can get no sleep like this monday, and be energized all day, or get a good amount of sleep and be totally drained. i totally knew sleep is a waste of time. i just want the damn weekend to come already.

just watched the trailer for the movie “300″ looks awesome, cant wait till that ones out, as well, the move “blood diamond” is up on the list of things to see. my list of things that i cant wait for keeps getting longer. cant wait till the new 37″ tv i want is available in stores, the wii, some movies, winter so i can snowboard, and currently…. the weekend… :S. ah well, things are better when you have to wait a long time, then you get it and it feels sooooo good.

other than that, iv got tickets to see the sens on the 12th and the 24th(against the leafs, whut) so that will be some fun times a rollin. got some stuff in the mail this week, il pop up some pics of it that i took last night when i get a chance when i get home or something. iv also been working on trying to come up with a theme and name for the near’ish future “ian personal site of fun’ness” that iv been wanting to do. iv been doing bits and pieces, but nothing much so far. so stay tunned on news for that. im hopping it will end up being entertaining and fun.
