well, nic and i were at the sens game on friday, they played the sabers etc. we lost 4-3, wasnt an everly exciting game. 2nd period was the only one that had any uppity in it. 3 goals by the sens and 1 by the savers that period etc.

have to say the seats were pretty awsome for 300 series. the angle allowes you to pretty much see the whole ice without having to move your head :P. lets hope the next game i get to has a lil more energy in it. damn pre-season.

soo ya. teknision day. the last couple production meetings last week they stressed that everyone has to be at work at 8:45 for a company breakfast treat or something (we normally start 9:30 just so ya know). so ya, to start it off, everyone on their chair has the new teknision jacket (which i designed) so that was a nice treat. so everyone gets in, and were told were ready to go (half of us have no clue whuts going on). so we get down stairs, and ya, there is a fancy stretch limo waiting for…. us.

so to start off, we just head to bridgehead coffee place down the street for a lil pick me up, get back in the limo and we are on our way. as we start off down the highway, steve pulls out some bottles of champagne and we start to celebrate. as this happens, it seems we are on the highway to montreal. awsooome :P.

10:30, well, seems like the 2 bottle of bubblie is done. we make a lil pit stop, to stretch our legs, and tony picks up a bottle of pepsi to use as mix for the future rum he will pick up. during our entrance to montreal, we all get envelopes, and in each is a pair of tickets to a sens game. i got sens vs sabers for the sept 22nd exhibition game (this friday, sweet, nic and i are going).

first stop is a mall, where we get another envelope, which apperanlty has the name of some person in the company, with a nice red 50 that we have to use to get them something. as wellllll, we each get 50 to spend on our selves. and we have 45 mins to do it in since we are on a time line it seems. i have yet to get something for myself, but i shall get me a new hat and look all fancy :P.

after that we hit up a thai resteraunt that was recommended (which was an awesome recommendation since it was awesome food… and a spiffy bathroom to boot.) and have ourselves a lunch. after which we head to olympic part to check out the bio-dome. though apperantly according to mr security guard, its closed on mondays (which the web site did not say, which i believe ticked paolo off) soo off to the insectarium we go. ooooooo, big fancy weird bugs. so that section of the excursion was cut a lil short, though we did decide to hit up the tram thing that takes you to the top of the olympic (expo stadium) spire and check out montreal from up high. back to the limo after that. we then decided to hit up a mall in laval and check out the apple store primarily, which Gab was gona grab a new ipod (which he called to see if he had the new ones…. for sale, which they said yes)……. guess whut, no ipods…. so we wandered around a pretty awesome mall, but we only had 30 short minutes. though i will defiantly take a trip back to get some cool shit.
limo home time. which involves mtl rush hour traffic. not to bad, though gives us time to exchange the spiffy 50$ secret gifts…. i got a pimp mario t-shirt with a matching colour arm band. ya, its pretty sweet…. lets hope it shrinks just a lil. story time on the way back, then a lovely bus ride home….

lets just say no monday at the office will ever top that i believe…. and im not quiting….

well, dosnt look like ricky and i are managing to hit up toronto for the design exchange andrew is in. woulda been a nice excertion, but the sleeping plans didnt get finalized in time so the plan got axed around lunch.  buut, ben did get to me saying that we would be able to stay at his place (this was difficult since ben currently has no home internet, or home phone, only email via campus interet, mm ghetto life) but we had called if off, so oh well. woulda been a nice excertion. now i have to figure out how to fill my weekend……

designchapel, one of my most influential sites, that wow’ed me for a good while has been update from its 2001 site. some nice new stuff up there. some of the big ones that have had a solid impact that i had no idea that this guy did was the vodophone stuff. or he had some key role in it. and ya, some of the photography stuff is pimp and illustrations… fuck it, its all pimp. if you haven’t seen his stuff before check out the old 2001 flash site near the top.

so ya, grabed myself a new phone (nokia 6265i). my current 2 year plan was going to come to an end in oct at some point, and i was in the market for a new phone. so on wed i went to telus to ask them about contract transition, and it was pretty much as easy as saying hello to a stranger and, bam, all set up. so ya, im on a 3 year plan of the same plan that iv had, which saved be a large stack of cash on the phone, since i had some extra deals on my account. i saved like 90% off the phone or something retarded like that, so no complaints really….. well, only 1, telus uses drm tech on their phones so i cant use the mp3 ringtone i want….. untill i hack it that is :P

no other news that that really. graham is gone to Uni as of last weekend. so the house is pretty empty these day. moms traveling mainly every week this month etc. so ya, i pretty well have the run of the place. work is getting busy, which is good, i dont feel like a moron and useless piece of crap anymore. so i feel like they hired me for a reason now. yay. il try and post more this week

well, some of you might have noticed my unreachability through msn. well pretty much iv been takin a break from being on the computer after a day on the computer at work. as well most people i know are leaving for university so iv been spending time with them and chilling. so ya, now that everyones gone, well, iv got not much else to do. but ya, il be back on the computer and msn and whut not more, but im still trying to spend time off of it during the evenings.

on another note, while on the computer most of the day yesterday iv got a whole new album thing going on. as well as iv got the front end of the giro serV kinda up. giroserv.no-ip.info (yes that url will change in the future) from there you can get to the album section. or to this blog. so ya, im still working on a bunch of other commponents, but its turning out be a small lil community sorta site, with just a lot of crap that i feel like putting up ;P so ya, more news on that soon.

CRANK. man, i had high expectations for that movie. but man, they were easily doubled during and after seeing it. man, i havent had a rush like that from a movie in a long time. now i just need to jump off a clif with a parachute and id be set for a while. considering im an adrenalin muncher, this movie really got me going since iv been doing dick all this year, and that i hardly got out snowboarding in the winter, or even water skiing or wakeboarding this summer. ya, iv been doing a whole lota nothing. im working on changing that as iv stated.
